Dr. Tivia Collins is an Assistant Professor in the Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies Department at Wake Forest University. Tivia holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies from UWI, STA, and her research explores the experiences of Caribbean women at the intersections of migration and the environment. Dr Collins is the recipient of the Environmental and Epistemic Justice Initiative grant from Wake Forest University, which supported the development and production of the film Paimiŷe.
