Nigel Williams is a Trinidad and Tobago filmmaker and videographer with a passion for storytelling through visual media. A professional videographer since 2018, Nigel’s journey in filmmaking began at a young age, experimenting with a webcam and later transitioning to mobile filmmaking before developing his craft with professional cameras. With a background in technical theatre, including participation in the Republic Bank First Steps programme and experience working with Montage Production, Nigel combines his knowledge of performance, production, and visual storytelling to bring ideas to life. He continues to explore creative storytelling through short films, music videos, advertisements, and digital content. His stop-motion short film, ‘Smile’ was nominated for Best Mid-Length Film at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2025, reflecting his dedication to creating meaningful stories through unique visual experiences.
