Films by this Director:

Nigel Dexter Williams is a 25-year-old filmmaker and stop-motion animator based in Trinidad and Tobago. His passion for storytelling began at an early age, when he created his first film using a simple laptop webcam. Over time, he honed his craft transitioning from phone-shot videos to developing stylized short films with his own camera. Nigel currently works as a videographer at 96.1 WEFM Ojo World, where he produces visual content alongside radio programming. Outside of work, he focuses on creating independent stop-motion shorts, using handcrafted visuals to explore themes of emotion, identity, and silent struggle. He studied Technical Theatre at the Department of Creative and Festival Arts, and was a participant in the Republic Bank First Steps program, which led to an opportunity to collaborate with Montage Productions, further refining his creative skills. Though “Smile” marks his debut in the film festival circuit, Kenrio brings years of personal filmmaking experience and a deep passion for visual storytelling to the screen.
