Nayibe Tavares-Abel, a Dominican of Palestinian and Lebanese origin, is a documentary filmmaker, research consultant and propmaster. ‘Colossal’ is her directorial debut, had its world premiere at Berlinale 2025, in the Forum section, and has been an official selection for Cinéma Du Réel (Paris), HotDocs (Toronto) and Sheffield DocFest.
