Kevin Adams is a Trinidad-born filmmaker whose work blends vibrant Caribbean storytelling with international sensibilities. A graduate of Brooklyn College’s Film Program, he earned early recognition with the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars Award, the Brooklyn College Directors’ Award, and the Kauffman Entrepreneurship Award. His first short, ‘Run’, was funded by the Brooklyn College Film Society, and he quickly built industry experience with SONY Music and top production companies such as Partisan, DNA, and FM Rocks. Returning to Trinidad in 2008, Adams won the TTFC Production Assistance & Script Development Award for Warrior Princess and went on to make No Soca No Life (2011), which received a TT$200,000 grant and earned a Best Actress award. His work spans narrative film, branded content, and music videos, with a focus on stories that capture the soul, struggles, and resilience of the Caribbean.
