Nicholas Clarke is a filmmaker based in Trinidad and Tobago. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production from the University of the West Indies, winning The Norman De Palm Prize for Best Student in his final year. He wrote and co-directed the medium length narrative film, The Misadventures of Brian and Sachin (2015), which screened at multiple festivals throughout the region and was named Best Indigenous Short at the World Festival of Emerging Cinema. With over a decade’s experience as a sports journalist for the Trinidad Guardian, he has honed his craft as a storyteller across different fields. He cites Francis Ford Coppola, Sergio Leone and Werner Herzog as his inspirations and hopes to bring several screenplays to fruition in the coming years.
