Born in Haiti in November 1988, Feguenson Hermogène studied sociology at the Université d’État d’Haïti. After taking part in several documentary directing and production workshops at the Fondation Connaissance et Liberté (FOCAL Haïti), he directed his first documentary “La déchirure” in 2016. This film, selected in several international festivals, received an honorable mention at “Festival Internacional De Cortometrajes Libélula Dorada de La República Dominicana”. In 2022, he directed the short film “Cuando llegue la noche”, which won Best Short Film at the “Cine Plaza de Cuba, 2023” festival and Best Foreign Short Film at the “Mostra de Audiovisual Universitário e Independente da América Latina (22ª MAUAL” festival), Brazil, 2023. In 2023, he also directed the short films “La sombra de la ceiba” and “En mil pedazos” (Fragmented). Féguenson has worked on several feature films as a production assistant, including “Zombie Child” by French director Bertrand Bonelo, and “Kidnapping Inc” by Haitian director Bruno Mourral. Before joining the documentary section of EICVT (Escuela Internacional de Cinema y Television de Cuba) in 2021, he worked for the Haitian newspaper Ayibopost. This experience enabled him to produce several audiovisual reports.
