Summer Eldemire is a Jamaican filmmaker and writer drawn to stories about identity, family, and the spaces in between. Her video and written work have appeared in Guernica, Pree, the Fader, The Face Mag, the BBC, Al Jazeera and the Daily Beast. She is also the creator of the Highly Favored webseries which screened at TTFF in 2023. Her work delves into Caribbean mysticism, memory and intergenerational legacy. She is currently working on her debut novel.
