German Gruber Jr. (1980) is a film director, writer, and producer based in Willemstad, Curaçao. Driven by a strong ambition to share fresh, Caribbean-rooted stories with an international audience, his work reflects a vibrant fusion of Latino, Caribbean, and European influences that define his unique creative style. Gruber made his feature film debut with Sensei Redenshon (2013), which premiered in TTFF ’24. He won best short film with E Leyenda Di Buchi Fil in 2009.
