Cathy SitaRam

Cathy SitaRam began her career as a Los Angeles–based entertainment journalist and has since dedicated her life to writing, producing, and directing. Born in Trinidad and Tobago and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, she graduated from the University of Maryland as a President’s Scholar, earning distinction while studying Radio, Film, and Theater. Her career path took her from serving as a news anchor and producer for the ABC affiliate in the Virgin Islands to on-air hosting roles with BET and E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles and New York. Returning home to the Virgin Islands, Cathy founded a production company that went on to win 14 awards. After more than six years away, during which she devoted herself to supporting her aging family, Cathy now returns to the creative scene with a bold new project: Gods of the Universe.
