Still from the Mexican film Alamar (Pedro González-Rubio, 2009)
There are 10 days to go the trinidad+tobago film festival/10, and the countdown is truly on. Around 70 films will be screened over 14 days at 12 venues. To help you get the most out of your Festival experience, we’ve come up with two ways to plan your film-viewing schedule.
First, you can go through the list of films being screened. Each film has a synopsis, details such as country, year and director, and in the case of feature-length films, a short biography of the filmmaker. The listing for each film also has its screening dates, times and locations.
Second, you can go through the Festival calendar, which tells you, day by day, what films are playing where and at what times. We always try to make it so that if you miss a film, you will have an opportunity to see it again. Therefore most of the films screen at least twice.
Also remember that a printed schedule as well as a detailed catalogue will be available. Schedules are free and will be available at all Festival venues and certain other locations. The catalogue will be available for sale at all Festival venues.
