Entries are now being accepted for the fifth annual trinidad+tobago film festival (ttff/10), set to take place from September 22 to October 5.
The festival accepts films made by Caribbean people, by persons of the Caribbean Diaspora, and by international filmmakers who have made films that reflect Caribbean culture and the way of life in the Caribbean or the Diaspora. Films from Central and South American countries that border the Caribbean sea are also accepted.
Films that are accepted for screening at the festival are also eligible for one or more prizes. There are two jury prizes, for best film and best Trinidad and Tobago film, and three people’s choice awards, for best feature film, best documentary and best short film. Each prize comes with a substantial cash award.
The festival will screen films in 35mm, NTSC DigiBeta or NTSC MiniDV formats. Entries of various lengths will be accepted. All initial submissions should be in NTSC DVD and must be in English or with English subtitles.
All submissions must be accompanied by:
• Running time
• Year of production
• Country of origin
• Language and if subtitled
• Producer, director and cast if appropriate
• Short biography of director
• Festivals/awards (if any)

The ttff reserves the right to determine the eligibility of the submissions to be screened at the festival and appropriate time slots, and to use excerpts of the films for publicity purposes. All films submitted must have applicable clearances and the ttff will not be held liable.
