Yuta

Matias and Franco, two Argentinians who are passionate about football, come to Brazil on a ride to follow the team they love: Chacarita Juniors. In “Yuta”, after suffering violence and police abuse, they both decide to strike back at the aggressors, even if it means the end of their lives.

Matheus Malburg is director and screenwriter. Working in the field of fiction, he has directed some shorts, among them “Autenticamente Falando”, which tells the story of MC Fioti on the night he wrote “Bum Bum Tam Tam” (one of the biggest brazilian funks of all time). “Yuta” is his latest project which tells the story of two Argentine football fans who end up in conflict with the police. In the documentary area, he directed two short-films, “Adeus, Geral” and “(L)os Visitantes.”
