Monique is a Parisian in her mid 30’s. On her way to Havana to meet her Cuban father for the first time, she meets Mario in a Paris airport – also Cuba bound. Grounded by weather conditions, the two share their fears, doubts, hopes into the complexities of Cuba and Cuban identity. At the same time, their growing attraction signal another type of journey.

Rigoberto Lopez

Rigoberto Lopez was born in Havana, on July 6th, 1947. He is one of the most outstanding Cuban filmmakers. He is part of the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC) since 1971. His documentaries and long feature fiction films have been highly praised by audiences and specialized critics in Cuba and abroad, and have received important national and international awards.
