Carolina writes a letter in which she explains how her world was transformed forever. As a refugee she boarded an overloaded boat with people in search of a better life. They experienced trauma at sea, but the real nightmare started in the place of possibilities. The story of Venezuelan refugees who must resort to prostitution in order to survive and provide for their families.

Chantal Anthonia (1989) has been interested in film from a young age. She used to watch and evaluate films every day. As a young adult, she started to create her own projects under the name of Ciann Line. She is an honours alumni from Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. She has lived, worked and studied in several parts of the world including Mexico, Australia and Hong Kong, where she had the opportunity to develop herself into a better storyteller.
She worked on a couple of films including her very recent “Sinceramente, Candy”, which she wrote, directed, produced, for her graduation. “One Decision” which she wrote and directed and premiered at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival 2017. She was also the producer for her first film “Submerged” about somebody dealing with loneliness after the death of her loved one. This film won “Best Film” and “Best Cinematography” at a NHTV Film Festival in 2014. After that she produced other films like “Headlines” about a news reporter doing everything to get a good story, inspirational video “My Move Matters” about taking care of the earth, and as a director of photography for “Spotlight” in which famous Dutch individuals are exchanging places with students and sharing their world. Furthermore, she has worked as assistant producer, assistant director and casting director for brands such as Adidas, NBC Universal, Amnesty International, Julio, Spectrum, Soft Dreams and so on. She also produced segments for a live TV show in England and helped with filming for the feature film Incipit in Germany. Her personal projects always contain content that can enhance the life of individuals.
