Filmmaker, photographer and journalist, Mamadou Diop lives and works in Dakar, Senegal. After earning a Master’s degree in film and audiovisual in Cape Verde in 2011, he directed his first short film which has participated in several festivals in Senegal, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Nigeria and Canada among others. Today he works as a reporter/videojournalist while continuing to develop his film projects.
