Mommy Water

Eight-year-old Rosental lives with his father in the seaside village of Port Louis. He is intent on finding his mother, who recently passed away. Kamo, the village sorcerer, informs him that she has turned into a mommy water, a siren who lures fishermen to a realm deep beneath the ocean.

Born in France in 1982, and raised in the French West Indies, Julien Silloray studied Law and Politics at the University of Nantes. His first short, A Home for These Old Bones, was a ttff/13 selection. Mommy Water is his second short film.
