Comprising five shorts inspired by legends and history of Trinidad and raises the issue of history’s misinterpretation of Caribbean people, Legends explores the re-imagining of storytelling in a modern world and makes the statement that legends are a people’s creative history.

Joanne Haynes and Ka’en Haynes

Joanne Haynes is an award-winning writer, recent filmmaker and creative facilitator. Legends Revisited is her first live- action film and is produced under her brand Pepperpot Productions.

Ka’en Haynes is a law student at the Institute of Law and Academic Studies with a passion for art and film. He has been creative advisor for Pepperpot Productions for the past three years. He makes his directing debut with Legends Revisited.
