Elyse Isebia and Inez Loods are young filmmakers from Curaçao in the Dutch Caribbean. Their first short film, Empty (2012) won both the jury and audience awards at the Curaçao International Film Festival Rotterdam (CIFFR). In 2013 the CIFFR jury and audience awards went to their second short film, La Trinitaria Marchita, which was also screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Their films are mostly inspired by their appreciation for the architectural styles and the colourful variety of people and personalities in Curaçao.
