Leonel González

Leonel González is a filmmaker from Margarita Island, Venezuela, and it is the warmth and rural life of the island that he seeks to capture in his stories. He studied at ESCINETV, Escuela de Cine y Televisión de Caracas. He has several student and amateur short films. “Isla Sirena” (Mermaid Island) is his first professional short film and is also his thesis.
