Grégory Beauville is a 40-year-old ‘Goyave (Guava) béké seeking his place in society and living a tense relationship with his father. Everything gets complicated when Grégory develops suspicions towards his father as a general strike is occurring in Martinique.

Nènèb and Christophe Agelan are Martinican filmmakers. Loving words and poetry since forever (Neneb is a SLAM Champion in Martinique), they have been writing for TV shows, virtual reality content, and movies for the last five years.  Professional screenwriters, Nènèb and Christophe use humorous or dramatic situations and different genres to serve Caribbean stories with universal potential. “Goyave” is their fourth short film.
