Full Circle explores the cycle of violence that plagues many Caribbean communities. It follows several characters living in a working-class neighborhood in Nassau, Bahamas, over the course of twenty-four hours.

Maria Govan

A self-taught filmmaker from the Bahamas, Maria Govan moved to Los Angeles at 18 to work in production in Hollywood. She returned home in 1999, bought a digital camera and began making small guerrilla-style documentaries. Her first narrative film, Rain, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008 and was the opening-night film of the ttff/09. Maria is filming her second feature, Play the Devil, in Trinidad and Tobago in late 2014.
