Errol Flynn’s Ghost: Hollywood in Havana

In the 1940s and ’50s Havana boasted more movie theatres than even New York City. Almost all of them showed Hollywood films. “Errol Flynn’s Ghost” chronicles this phenomenon, while recalling the last great real-life adventure of the legendary Hollywood swashbuckler: the Cuban Revolution.

His credits include the national PBS release Muhammad Ali: Made in Miami, the Grantland short doc Gay Talese’s Address Book, the ESPN 30 for 30 Short The Guerrilla Fighter, and Havana House, a selection of AFI Docs and winner of the Audience Award at the 2017 Miami Film Festival. His work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the American Cinematheque, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
