Animation piece developed for Engage Earth, a short documentary that takes a look inside Brazilian artist, Denise Milan and her ongoing work with stones leading to an impactful art programme in Heliópolis, one of the largest favelas in the Americas located outside of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Yijun Wang

Yijun Wang graduated from Zhejiang University of Media and Communication with a bachelor’s degree, and then got a master’s degree at Pratt Institute, New York. She is committed to expressing the splendour of traditional Chinese culture and the spiritual meaning behind it through visual, dynamic art and animation. Her graduate work of Master’s degree, Pangu, has won awards at several international film festivals. She later collaborated with director James Choi to complete the animation part of ‘Engage Earth’.
