Kavery Kaul is an award-winning documentary director whose projects have been screened in theaters and on television. Her work has been screened at numerous international festivals, including Telluride, Rotterdam, London, DOC NYC, Sydney, in India, Japan, Burkina Faso, and Italy. Born in India and brought up in the USA, Kaul’s cultural background is unbounded. Her credits include “Back Walking Forward”, “Long Way from Home” a Time Out, Booklist, and Film Threat Critic’s Pick; and the critically acclaimed “One Hand Don’t Clap”. A TEDx speaker on the importance of stories that connect people, Kaul received a Fulbright Fellowship, the Best Cultural Film Award (Havana), and a Proclamation of Excellence from New York City for her work.
