Twenty-two-year-old Coralie dreams of becoming a hip-hop star. She runs away from her comfortable middle-class life in her native Switzerland and moves to the suburbs of Paris to pursue her goal. She gets a job as a cook at a local youth centre, where she meets the magnetic Issa, the rising rap star of the ‘hood. When Coralie’s skills on the mic are discovered, however, attraction is replaced by envy, in this edgy and captivating urban drama.
