Paolo Cesti

Paolo Cesti is a Latino-American filmmaker of Cuban and Peruvian descent, based in Miami, Florida. He is an alumnus of the After School Film Institute program (ASFI), whereas he had the privilege of working with and being mentored by local Miami-based industry filmmakers from a particularly young age. Paolo’s work delves into the ubiquity and infiniteness of memory and moment, as his work typically is derived from deeply human experiences of loss, love, yearning, exile, community, and intimacy. He is a former member of the UK-based !GWAK multi-disciplinary artists’ collective and is currently acquiring a BFA degree in Film at the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts.
