Juan Pablo Daranas Molina

Juan Pablo Daranas Molina is a Cuban filmmaker based in New York City. His filmography
includes YUNAISY, selected by more than fifty festivals, and TWILIGHT, winner of top prizes
from the New Jersey Film Festival, the Martinique International Film Festival, Muestra Joven, etc.
His credits also comprise projects for organizations like Galleria Continua, Louis Vuitton, the
Museum of Modern Art, the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), and The Bronx Museum of the
Arts. Daranas is a co-founder and president of fila20 filmes, a Cuban-American group with films
screened in more than a hundred countries and at festivals like Cannes, Glasgow, Miami, New
Jersey, Sundance, Sydney, Trinidad & Tobago, etc..
