A Superhero

A young boy dreams of becoming a superhero. As he ages, he realizes that superpowers aren’t real but there are heroes in all professions around the world. As he thinks about his future career opportunities, COVID-19 struck and made him realize the food insecurity in Trinidad and Tobago, which led to him having less food compared to when he was younger. Determined to change this, he considers farming as a legitimate career and aspires to be a farmer to help his nation.

Sai Saidu is a 22-year-old amateur photographer and filmmaker. He uses film as a means of self-expression and a way to document the goings-on in the complex world around him. Each type of film tells its own story in its own way, and that is what makes filmmaking such an infinitely exciting hobby.

His interest in film started at quite a young age when his dad first bought a digital camcorder to immortalize special moments in his life, with the only confines being the limit of the memory stick. Over time, he began to learn, and more importantly, understand the rules of film.

Currently, he pursues film as a hobby. He is working towards turning his dreams into reality and making a career out of his passion.
