SUMMARY:Crossroads: Colosal
DESCRIPTION:All families keep secrets\, says director Nayibe Tavares-Abel. Hers are intimately intertwined with the democratic history of the Dominican Republic. Tavares-Abel is an election observer for the 2020 elections. In May 1990\, her grandfather Froilán Tavares\, a respected lawyer and president of the Central Electoral Board\, was blamed for the electoral fraud that would prolong the authoritarian regime of Joaquín Balaguer. ‘Colossal’ is a portrait of a  transgenerational family caught between fear and trauma\, and of new generations in search of new paths. \n🎟️ Tickets available here

SUMMARY:10 for 20: Children of God
DESCRIPTION:Set across the sun-drenched islands of Nassau and Eleuthera\, Children of God is a bold and tender drama from Bahamian filmmaker Kareem Mortimer. Two stories unfold in parallel: a young art student who finds love and his creative voice on the outer islands\, and a devout anti-gay activist whose certainties begin to fracture. One of the first Caribbean feature films to address homosexuality with such directness\, Children of God confronts the deep contradictions of love\, religion\, and belonging. A double winner at ttff/10 – taking home both the Jury Award and Audience Award for Best Dramatic Film – the film is as vital today as ever. \nScreened as part of 10 for 20\, TTFF’s celebratory anniversary series revisiting audience-favourite films from across two decades of the festival\, this special screening takes place at the historic Little Carib Theatre during Pride month. \n🗓️ Thursday 25 June\, 2026 | Doors open at 6pm 📍 Little Carib Theatre\, Woodbrook 🎟️ $150 — includes complimentary movie snacks and soft drinks
